Punjab State Talent Search Exam

SCERT State Council of Education, Research and Training, Punjab conducts this examination. So, the interested aspirants can apply for the Punjab State Talent Search Examination by filling out the online application form and submitting it before the last date. PSTSE is basically a talent search exam that is commenced for the students of classes 8 and 10 studying in the government schools of Punjab state. TOTAL SLECTED STUDENTS FROM 8TH CLASS =500 AND FROM 10TH = 500 ALL OUR THE STATE.

The main objective behind the commencement of the examination is to provide financial aid to economically poor students to help them continue their secondary and higher education. Eligibility Requirements

The State Council of Education, Research and Training, Punjab (SCERT) Punjab set the eligibility criteria for appearing in the Punjab Talent Search Examination. Consequently, all the candidates must fulfill the eligibility norms before registering online. The details of the minimum eligibility criteria to appear in the PSTSE exam are specified below:

An applicant should have qualified in class 7th with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved category) to apply for the talent search examination for grade 8th.
Applicants of PSTSE for class 10 need to clear class 9th with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved category).
The candidates must be permanent residents of the state of Punjab.
They must not avail the benefit of any other scholarship program.
Family income less than 1,50000 /- per anm.

Scholarship Award

The scholarship will be awarded to eligible candidates in the form of certificates and cash prizes.
Qualified candidates will get a stipend of Rs.200/- each month till +12 class(TOTAL 4800 RS IN 2 YEARS) from the SCERT.
